Rev. Ntim Fordjour, the Assin South MP, criticized NDC supporters. This came after a viral video showed Sammy Gyamfi giving Nana Agradaa large sums of dollars.

Fordjour pointed out that while NDC fans suffer, Gyamfi flaunts cash. He noted that many are enduring power outages and rising living costs. In just 120 days, they are sharing dollars publicly.

He posted on X, saying, “They’re arrogantly sharing dollars while stashing millions under their beds.” He claimed these individuals have never worked in any company.

Fordjour also mentioned their expensive phones and tablets. He said these items could build classrooms in their constituency.

He highlighted that they drive $450,000 Range Rover Autobiography vehicles within 120 days of taking office. Yet, he argued there is no enforcement of the Code of Conduct.

In the viral video, Gyamfi was seen with his white Range Rover. He counted several US dollar notes while talking to Nana Agradaa. She insisted he give her all the money instead of just some.

Agradaa then took the cash from him and showed it off to bystanders. She exclaimed, “I have taken dollars from Sammy Gyamfi.”

Sammy Gyamfi later apologized for his actions. He expressed regret over what he called an unfortunate act of indiscretion. He explained that lending money is part of his daily routine to help those in need.
