Political analyst Theo Acheampong has criticized the "reset" and "upgrade" proposals from Ghana's leading parties, calling them semantic rather than substantive.
He stressed that Ghana needs a major change in direction to address persistent issues like the cost of living, unemployment, and inequality.
Acheampong noted that despite economic growth and increased foreign investment since 2012, poverty rates have risen significantly.
He argued that Ghana cannot afford to experiment or make mistakes, emphasizing the need for fundamental changes to tackle these challenges effectively.
