Thousands gather to bid farewell to ageless Ga music icon Naa Amanua Dodoo

Thousands of mourners gathered in Accra today. They came to say goodbye to Naa Amanua Dodoo. She was the lead singer of the famous Ga band Wulomei.

The funeral took place at the Forecourt of the State House. It honored a woman whose voice shaped traditional Ga music.

Fans, musicians, and dignitaries wore white and black mourning cloth. They celebrated the life of a singer who defined Ga folk music.

Wulomei’s timeless tunes played in the background. The music brought back memories of Naa Amanua’s electrifying performances.
