Three Injured in Explosion at Vulcaniser Shop in Mfantseman

Three men were seriously injured in an explosion. This incident occurred at a vulcaniser shop in New Nkusukum, near Volta Bar. The location is in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region.

The victims are receiving treatment at Roman Hospital in Mankessim. One man, identified as Richard, is believed to be in his 30s and is critical.

Isaac Opoku, an eyewitness, spoke to Adom News. He said the explosion happened while they were offloading goods near the shop.

One victim told emergency responders they were pumping a tyre when the machine exploded. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the explosion.
