The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has issued a weather forecast for today.
Expect partly cloudy to sunny conditions across the country. Rain and thunderstorms are likely later in the day.
The 24-hour outlook, starting at 6:00 a.m., predicts mist and fog. This is expected in coastal, forested, and mountainous areas. Cities like Koforidua, Akim Oda, Sunyani, and Techiman may see morning mist with a 60% chance.
In the northern regions, including Tamale, Bolgatanga, Wa, and Bole, expect mostly sunny weather. The southern parts of Ghana will have a mix of sunshine and clouds.
Later in the afternoon and evening, conditions will change. Thunderstorms and rain are forecasted for coastal, middle transition, and northern areas. Cities such as Cape Coast, Takoradi, Ho, Kumasi, and Yendi have a 30% to 40% chance of thunderstorms or rain tonight.

- Cape Coast: 60% chance of morning thunderstorms; high of 32°C.

- Tamale: Mostly cloudy with a 30–40% chance of thunderstorms; peak temperature at 36°C.
- Ho: Partly cloudy early; 30–40% chance of rain by evening; high of 33°C.
