Thunderstorms to continue in parts of Ghana tonight – Ghana Meteo warns

The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has issued a warning. Thunderstorms and rainfall are expected tonight in parts of the country.

The latest forecast predicts thunderstorms or rain over several regions. These include the coastal, middle, transition, and some northern areas.

Cities like Accra, Aflao, Ho, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Kumasi, and Sunyani may see varying intensities of thunderstorms.

In the Northern regions, Wa, Tamale, and Damongo are likely to have thunderstorms. They will also experience partly cloudy conditions.

GMet urges residents to take precautions against potential flooding. Heavy rains could cause disruptions as well.

The agency warns that the sea remains rough along the coastline.
