Accra, Ghana – The 8th Ghana-West Africa Healthcare Excellence Awards took place on Saturday, March 29, 2025. The event was held at the Marriott Hotel in Accra. It celebrated individuals and organizations excelling in healthcare.

The theme was "Recognizing Standards and Excellent Stewardship in the Health Industry." The awards honored healthcare institutions, professionals, and policymakers. These groups are dedicated to improving medical care in Ghana and West Africa.

Hon. Prof. Titus Beyuo delivered the keynote speech. He is a Member of Parliament for Lambussie. He stressed the need for investment, innovation, and ethical leadership in healthcare. He praised awardees for their dedication to quality healthcare as vital for national development.

Mrs. Sandra Ayivor was the guest speaker at the event. She is Head of Accreditation Maintenance at QMSD, FDA. She discussed regulatory compliance and standardization in healthcare services. She urged professionals to focus on quality and patient-centered care.

The awards recognized outstanding contributions across various categories. These included medical innovation, patient care, hospital administration, pharmaceuticals, and public health efforts. Winners expressed gratitude for their recognition and committed to maintaining excellence.

The Ghana-West Africa Healthcare Excellence Awards promote high standards in healthcare delivery. They encourage stakeholders to pursue continuous improvement and sustainability within the industry.
