Ghana Education Service Ghana Education Service

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has interdicted Rev. Joy Kafui Akpebu, headmaster of Tsito Senior High Technical School, along with storekeeper Sylvanus Awunyo and driver Samuel Kwame Ampeh.

The action follows allegations of diverting 100 cartons of tin tomatoes meant for student meals in the Volta Region.

In a statement, GES explained that the interdiction is in line with Section 8, Clauses (i-v) of its Code of Conduct, which permits such action to prevent staff from interfering with investigations.

The decision underscores GES’s commitment to upholding accountability and transparency in managing resources allocated to schools.

Investigations are ongoing to establish the facts surrounding the alleged diversion and ensure appropriate measures are taken.
