Tuesday, January 7 declared public holiday

The Ministry of Interior has announced that Tuesday, January 7, 2025, will be observed as a statutory public holiday in honor of Constitution Day.

This day commemorates the adoption of Ghana’s 1992 Constitution, which restored the country to democratic rule.

In a statement signed by Minister Henry Quartey, citizens are encouraged to reflect on the importance of upholding democratic principles and the rule of law.
