Ghana's Black Satellites face a tough group in the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). This follows a new draw by the Confederation of African Football.
In Group C, Ghana will compete against Senegal, the Central African Republic, and DR Congo.
The new draw took place on Sunday, April 13. Côte d'Ivoire withdrew as the original host for the tournament.
Group A has five teams. Groups B and C each have four teams.
In Group A, Egypt will play Zambia, Sierra Leone, South Africa, and Tanzania. Group B features Nigeria against Tunisia, Kenya, and Morocco.
The tournament starts on April 26 and ends with the final on May 18.
This U-20 AFCON also serves as qualifiers for the 2025 FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Chile. The World Cup is scheduled from September 27 to October 19, 2025.
Ghana qualified for this continental stage by finishing second in last year's WAFU B Qualifiers held in Togo.
