At its 57th Congregation, the University of Cape Coast (UCC) graduated 14,643 students across various fields from December 9–13, 2024.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Johnson Nyarko Boampong, urged graduates to create their own jobs and continue lifelong learning to contribute to society's advancement.
Despite recent infrastructure improvements, UCC faces a housing deficit for students, which poses security concerns.
To address this, the university is collaborating with the Ghana Universities Staff Superannuation Scheme to build more student accommodations.
UCC also conferred honorary doctorates on three distinguished personalities.
The university remains highly ranked in Africa, continuing its commitment to high-quality education and global collaborations.
