UE/R Minister inspects Anateem airport project site - Ghanaian Times

The Upper East Regional Minister, Mr. Donatus Atanga Akamugri, visited the site for the new Bolgatanga Airport. This site is located in Anateem, a community in the Upper East Region.

His visit aimed to check if the site was ready for construction. The Alagumgube Association cleared the area for this purpose.

After inspecting the project site on Friday, Mr. Akamugri spoke to journalists. He assured residents that the government is committed to building the airport. This project will help improve transportation in the Upper East Region.

The minister was accompanied by officials from Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL). He praised the Alagumgube Association for their efforts. “I thank them for clearing this site so the project can begin,” he said.
