UG professor unveils "admissions checker" software to streamline admissions

Professor Kobby Mensah Professor Kobby Mensah

Professor Kobby Mensah of the University of Ghana has created an innovative software called Admissions Checker, designed to assist Senior High School (SHS) students in navigating the complex university admissions process.

The software uses students' WASSCE grades and high school courses to assess their eligibility for admission to various universities and programs.

By generating a comprehensive report on students' admission chances, Admissions Checker offers a clear picture of their opportunities, reducing uncertainty around the process.

The platform also serves as a valuable tool for SHS students to track their academic progress and adjust their study habits before taking the WASSCE exams, improving their chances for a successful university application.
