UG refutes claims of mandatory Apple devices for Computer Science students

The University of Ghana has dismissed false claims that students in the Department of Computer Science are required to purchase Apple devices for their studies.

The University clarified that no specific devices are mandated for any academic programme and urged students, parents, and guardians to ignore the misleading message.

Management reassured stakeholders that its academic processes are inclusive and transparent, and no student will be disadvantaged based on their choice of device.

The University encouraged everyone to verify information through official channels to avoid falling for such misinformation.
