The United States Embassy in Ghana has addressed growing concerns over delays in expedited student visa appointments, assuring applicants that efforts are underway to resolve the issue.
Many students have expressed frustration over missed academic deadlines and the impact on their educational opportunities.
In an interview on the Citi Breakfast Show, Stacy Comp, the Visa Chief, acknowledged the issue and promised to follow up on the matter. She assured the public that the embassy would investigate the delays with their third-party contractor and work to expedite the process.
Comp also expressed gratitude for the interest in studying in the US, reaffirming the importance of US-Ghana educational exchanges.
