University of Cape Coast business students tour GEPA’s Impact Hub

The Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) welcomed 65 students from the University of Cape Coast School of Business. They visited GEPA's headquarters in the Africa Trade House, Accra. This event took place on Friday, May 23, 2025. It was organized by the GEPA Impact Hub and UCC Association of Business Students (UCCABS).

Ambrose Edwin Nsarkoh, Deputy CEO of GEPA, addressed the students. He highlighted GEPA’s commitment to supporting youth-led enterprises. He encouraged students to find business opportunities that fit the government's 24-hour Economy framework.

Samuel Owusu Ahenkye, President of UCCABS, thanked GEPA for the visit. He promised to organize more trips for students to learn about trade promotion organizations. Lord Kweku Sekyi, Manager of the GEPA Impact Hub, called it an inspiring opportunity.

He noted that GEPA aims to engage future business leaders in Ghana’s export sector. The center is ready to help exporters with information and certifications for international trade. The visit included a facility tour and networking sessions.

Presentations were made by Zakari Banda from GEPA and Frederick Sogbe from Zayn Organic Cosmetics Limited.
