Ghana’s Vice President, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has officially been sworn in as the first female Chairperson of the Ghana Armed Forces Council.
The swearing-in ceremony, held on Monday, March 24, at the Presidency, also saw the induction of other Council members, including Edward Kofi Omane Boamah, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Mubarak Mohammed Muntaka, Daniel Addo, Fuseini Iddrisu, and Nancy Dakwa Ampofo.
The Ghana Armed Forces Council is responsible for overseeing military operations and providing strategic advisory support to enhance national security and defense administration.
