Reports say an unidentified man bought all her smoked fish near Korle Bu. The woman was selling by the roadside when he approached on a motorbike. He offered to buy all her fish.

She initially priced the fish at GHS 950 but negotiated down to GHS 800. After the sale, she boarded a vehicle and tried to pay her fare. The driver then pointed out that the cedi notes were fake.

The woman lives in Jamestown and speaks only Ga. Anyone wishing to contact her can reach Daniel Abbey at 026 027 1647.

Meanwhile, one netizen pledged to donate GHS 1,000 if she is found. Others expressed their outrage over the incident online. Comments included disbelief at how someone could give her fake notes.

One user said, “How can you be this heartless? How much does she earn?” Another added, “People are wicked! How could you watch this woman’s face?”

A third netizen stated that the culprits would not find peace until they return what they owe her.
