Video – Ghanaian woman abroad accuses Ghana airport officials of stealing her ‘momoni’

A Ghanaian woman living abroad has accused airport officials in Ghana of stealing her food items. These items include beef, dry fish, and shrimp shipped from Ghana.

In a self-recorded video, she warned the officials. She invoked curses upon them if they do not return her stolen goods.

She showed bags in her video, stating they were expensive and folded. “You did not steal the bags,” she said, referring to the different types of bags in her luggage.

She expressed frustration about the theft of her food items. “Why do you want to disgrace me?” she asked the airport workers.

The woman identified herself as Ruth. She warned those who stole from her that they would suffer for it.

Many Ghanaians reacted to her video online. Some noted that customs in destination countries have the right to inspect packages.

One commenter pointed out that U.S. customs often discards certain foods from travelers, especially African ones.

Another person suggested that poor packaging might have led to rejection by airline officials or customs agents.

Overall, reactions varied, with some supporting her and others criticizing her understanding of customs regulations.
