Video – Listowell Nana Kusi-Poku blasts Randy Abbey over COCOBOD contract snub

Listowell Nana Kusi-Poku is the General Secretary of the United Front Party (UFP). He has criticized Dr. Randy Abbey, the Acting CEO of COCOBOD.

Kusi-Poku claims that Abbey snubbed him when he sought a contract. He had purchased suckers to plant but was denied a contract.

He alleges that all nine COCOBOD contracts went to an NPP member. Kusi-Poku feels he should have received at least two contracts.

In an interview on Accra FM, Kusi-Poku expressed his frustration. He said he competed for a job with Joe Forson but lost it unfairly.

He mentioned that this issue was previously discussed and resolved in the studio. However, when it came time to appoint grassroots members, Abbey halted the process.

Kusi-Poku stated that he and his NDC colleagues sought a contract from COCOBOD. After buying suckers to plant, they were denied and Forson received the contract instead.

He questioned why all nine slots went to Forson, who is affiliated with the NPP. Kusi-Poku asked what contribution Forson made to help Mahama.

He also challenged Abbey's claim that Wahab was responsible for awarding contracts. "Is Wahab the CEO of COCOBOD?" he asked.
