A video has emerged showing the luxurious Dorchester Heights. This property is linked to Kwabena Adu-Boahene, the former head of the National Signals Bureau. The real estate is valued at $5.5 million and was uncovered by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).
The Dorchester Heights features a 37-unit luxury apartment complex in Asokore Mampong. Reports claim it was completed in under a year. The video lasts one minute and forty-seven seconds, showcasing both the exterior and interior of the property.
Kwabena Adu-Boahene served as NSB Director-General from 2017 until February 2025. He faces accusations of diverting millions of Ghanaian cedis into personal accounts. The Attorney General alleges he misappropriated over $7 million related to a cyber defense contract.
Additionally, Adu-Boahene is accused of laundering state funds through real estate investments in Accra and abroad. Dr. Dominic Ayine revealed another crime involving internet service payments from Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL).
Adu-Boahene allegedly redirected biweekly payments of ₵650,000 to his own company instead of the Bureau's account. GWCL had a contract with the Bureau for secure internet services worth GHS1.3 million monthly.
Currently, Kwabena Adu-Boahene has been remanded by an Accra High Court for seven working days. This allows time for the Attorney General to prepare witness statements. He will remain in custody with EOCO during this period.
The case has been adjourned until May 13. Adu-Boahene, his wife Angela Adjei-Boateng, and two others face charges including stealing and money laundering. The Attorney General filed 11 charges against them at the High Court in Accra.
