The Volta Regional Minister, Mr. James Gunu, has formed a seven-member committee. This committee will investigate concerns about the Keta reclaimed land.
During the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Gunu expressed disappointment. He noted discrepancies between the official land layout and what exists on the ground. He stressed the need for a thorough investigation to find out why these irregularities occurred.
The committee is chaired by Dr. Joe Attipoe. It will examine the activities of the Keta Municipal Assembly and other stakeholders involved in land reclamation and allocation.
Mr. Gunu urged Keta residents to share any relevant information with the committee. He assured them that appropriate actions would follow based on their findings.
Dr. Attipoe promised that the committee would conduct an impartial investigation. He emphasized their commitment to maintaining public trust.
The committee has one month to submit its report to the Regional Minister.
