After his installation, he addressed unemployment issues. Nana Armah II promised to create more job opportunities with the local mining company. Despite hosting a large mining operation, youth unemployment remains high in Wassa Damang.
During a recent gathering, he emphasized the need for peace. He assured the youth of his commitment to help them find well-paying jobs. "We must unite and maintain our peace," he said. This unity will help achieve development for Wassa Damang.
Nana Armah II urged all sub-chiefs and families to support his agenda. He expressed hope that they could work together towards their shared vision. "I will do everything possible to secure jobs for you from the mining company," he added.
Residents reacted positively to his promises about job creation. One young person stated, "It’s time for us to benefit from local mines." They feel excluded as most workers come from outside their community. They trust that Nana Kwaku Armah will listen and create jobs for them.
Jones Nana Ntiful, a respected leader, expressed confidence in Nana Armah II's plans. After hearing his vision, Ntiful believes he genuinely cares about the community's interests. He declared that the community is ready to support Armah II’s vision.
