WAEC releases 2024 WASSCE private results, warns against fraudsters

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the 2024 WASSCE provisional results for private candidates.

Candidates can access their results online at www.waecgh.org.

WAEC warns candidates and the public about fraudsters. These scammers claim they can upgrade results for a fee via mobile money.

The statement emphasized that WAEC’s results database is secure. All results can be verified and authenticated.

Institutions should verify results directly from WAEC. They can also use the online confirmation service on the official website.

This release is the second in the 2024 WASSCE Private examination series. A total of 17,596 male and 21,131 female candidates registered for the exams.

However, 1,354 candidates did not sit for the papers.

Additionally, WAEC reported that 303 candidates had their subject results withheld. The entire results of 108 candidates were also withheld due to suspected irregularities.
