The Women, Media and Change (WOMEC) launched a new campaign on Thursday.
This campaign focuses on promoting good nutrition in Ghana.
The project is called “The Nourish Ghana.” It will last for 18 months.
Its goal is to advocate for better leadership against malnutrition.
It aims to strengthen national policies on nutrition through dialogue.
The project also seeks increased funding and accountability in this area.
Additionally, it will use media to share information across all sectors.
At a stakeholder event in Accra, Dr. Charity Binka spoke about the issue.
She is the Executive Director of WOMEC.
Dr. Binka emphasized that malnutrition remains a major public health problem in Ghana.
