WPL 2024/25: Police Ladies crowned Southern Zone champions, set to face Ampem Darkoa in final

Police Ladies are the new champions of the Southern Zone. They achieved this after an impressive 18-match run in the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League.

On the final match day, Police Ladies won 2-0 against FC Epiphany Warriors. This victory secured their top position, two points ahead of Hasaacas Ladies.

Before the last match, both teams had 36 points. They were tied at the top but separated by goal difference.

This is Police Ladies' first time reaching the league's grand final. Hasaacas Ladies could not secure a win against Jonina Ladies, ending in a 1-1 draw. This result dashed their title hopes.

Police Ladies finished with 11 wins, six draws, and one loss for a total of 39 points. They will now face Ampem Darkoa, the Northern Zonal Champions, in the playoff finale later in May.
