At a Thanksgiving service honoring Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, the Minister for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry, and MP for Techiman North, a chief took the audience by surprise with a bold musical request.
On Sunday, February 2, 2025, he asked for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) campaign anthem, Kwen Kwen, to be played, describing it as a nightmare for the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to him, the song had dominated the election season, unsettling the NPP. "This is the song the opposition feared, and I must hear it today," he declared, emphasizing his admiration for the tune.
His request stirred excitement among attendees, further cementing the song’s influence in the political landscape.
