Watch disturbing video of students of Winneba Technical Institute openly brandishing weapons

A disturbing video has emerged showing students from Winneba Technical Institute.

In the viral video, students in uniform are seen brandishing weapons. This incident has sparked outrage, especially after the case of SDA student Suzzy Pinamang. She is still recovering from a recent weapon-related tragedy at school.

In another incident, a 16-year-old student from Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School was arrested. He was found with a locally manufactured firearm during a routine dormitory search on May 14, 2025.

School authorities discovered the firearm and reported it to the police. The student claimed it belonged to his stepfather, Mr. Daniel Owusu Baafi, who was also arrested.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Godwin Ahianyo confirmed this information on May 18. Both individuals have been granted police enquiry bail. They must report back for further investigation on May 19, 2025.
