Ghanaian journalist and broadcaster Kofi Adomah is reportedly recovering after accidentally suffering a gunshot to his face.

The news was first revealed on January 16, 2025, through a Facebook post by his colleague, Afia Pokuaa Vim Lady.

Subsequent investigations confirmed that Kofi Adomah has been flown to Dubai for medical treatment, though details of when the incident occurred remain unclear.

A week later, on January 22, 2025, a video of the incident was shared on Kofi Adomah’s Facebook channel, Kofi TV.

The footage showed how the broadcaster, positioned on the left of a gunman attempting to fire into the air, was inadvertently shot in the face. The mishap occurred as the shooter failed to raise the gun high enough, causing Kofi to be struck by gunpowder.

Kofi Adomah's wife, Miracle Adomah, provided an update on his health via Facebook, reassuring supporters that her husband is in stable condition and expressing gratitude for the outpouring of well wishes.

This incident has sparked widespread concern, with many offering prayers for Kofi Adomah’s swift recovery.
