Trophies for Winners of the Athletics Meet

The 23rd Annual Inter-Schools and Colleges athletics meet is happening now. It takes place in Sekondi from May 15 to 16, 2025.

Participating schools include Adiembra Senior High School, Ahantaman Girls Senior High School, and Diabene Senior High Technical School. Other schools are Fijai Senior High School, Sekondi Senior High School, and Shama Senior High School. St. John's School, Daboase Senior High School, and Methodist Senior High School are also competing.

Students from these schools gathered for a parade. The defending champions returned their trophy for this year's event.

School authorities announced the rules for the competition. They urged students to follow these rules for a fair event.

The Sekondi athletics meet is covered by GhanaWeb Sports. Events include the 800m, high jump, long jump, and 4x100 relay. Other events are the 200m, discus throw, 5000m race, and 400m dash.

Athletes who perform well at this regional meet can compete nationally.
