Mustapha Gbande, Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, has made a bold statement. He told the Minority in Parliament to "go and burn the sea."
He believes that the political game has just begun. The government will take action against former appointees involved in corruption.
Gbande warned the minority to prepare for investigations into past leaders. He stated that anyone who cheated Ghanaians or misused public funds will face arrest.
This includes President Akufo-Addo if necessary. He accused the minority of shielding criminals with their actions. Many individuals have wasted money while in power, leading to public distrust.
He noted that this is why the NPP received only 38% of votes. Ghanaians are looking forward to President Mahama's leadership.
His comments followed a press conference by the minority. They condemned what they see as abuse of office by the attorney general. They believe he should not be involved in raids or investigations.
