Matthew Nyindam, MP for Kpandai Constituency, has called for fairness in Kwabena Adu Boahen's case. He emphasized that no one is above the law, including the Attorney General.
In an interview on GHOne, he stated, "Nobody is above the law. Crime is crime." Nyindam clarified that his party does not support criminals. Instead, they aim to ensure due process is followed.
He said, "We are not in as NPP Minority to come and be supporting criminals." He believes everyone deserves a fair trial.
Nyindam warned that guilt should be determined by the court, not public opinion. Premature condemnation could lead to serious consequences.
He expressed concern about the Attorney General condemning someone before the courts. He cautioned that if the case fails in court, it could undermine public trust in the judicial system.
