We are restructuring and rebuilding our party-Miracle Aboagye

Dennis Miracle Aboagye is the Communications Director for the 2024 Bawumia campaign. He says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is restructuring to strengthen its future.

In an interview on Joy News' AM Show, Mr. Aboagye discussed the party's rebuilding phase. He mentioned that certain actions are necessary, while others should be avoided.

He emphasized that internal party issues should not be publicly discussed. Some individuals have done this, which he believes is unhelpful.

"We’ve engaged with those involved," he said. "You may have slipped, but we need to hold our horses."

Mr. Aboagye acknowledged that setbacks are normal in a large organization like the NPP.

"It’s fine for that to happen," he stated. "People will slip from time to time, and that's okay."

He stressed the importance of learning from mistakes and moving forward.

Mr. Aboagye questioned why internal matters should be discussed publicly during their campaign.

"Why discuss what happened within our party on television?" he asked. "How does that benefit viewers?"

He believes viewers care more about alternatives offered by the party on key issues like economics, healthcare, and education.

The focus should be on providing solutions to pressing national challenges, not public disputes.

"The public wants to know what alternatives we can bring," he said. "They don't care about our internal struggles."

He urged party members to be patient and supportive during this restructuring process.

"Hold your horses for now," he advised as they work on rebuilding the NPP for future success.
