Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has urged Ghanaians to move on.
Ghana failed to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). They finished bottom of their group and did not win any games.
Addo's performance in AFCON qualifiers was disappointing. However, he has won all four World Cup qualifying matches.
After the win over Madagascar on March 24, Addo emphasized focusing on the future.
He said, “It is not done yet. We still have to work hard.” He added that football can change quickly. As a national team coach, he must wait months before gathering the team again.
“I am very happy with the result and how we played,” he stated. “It’s well deserved, and we are looking forward.”
Addo noted they cannot change the past. They must focus on their current position to qualify for the World Cup.
Ghana beat Madagascar 3-0 in Morocco. This victory extended their lead at the top of Group I by five points over second-placed Madagascar.
