We can't keep driving luxury cars while widows continue to suffer - McDan

Dr. Daniel McKorley, CEO of McDan Group, has urged philanthropists, NGOs, and corporate bodies to expand their social responsibility efforts to support widows nationwide.

Speaking at the 2025 McDan Foundation Widows Support Project in James Town, Accra, he emphasized the duty of privileged individuals to aid the less fortunate, especially amid economic hardships.

"We can't keep driving luxury cars while widows suffer," he said, calling on others to join his cause.

The event, held in partnership with RIDNE Food Consortium, supported over 6,000 widows with food, health screenings, and financial aid.

McKorley assured continued nationwide efforts, with the next phase targeting the Ashanti, Northern, Volta, and Western regions.
