We cannot let this pass as ordinary – Prof. Beyuo highlights Mahama’s achievements

Professor Titus Beyuo has urged Ghanaians to recognize the differences between NDC and NPP leadership. He emphasized that John Dramani Mahama shows integrity and efficiency in governance.

"We cannot let this pass as ordinary," he stated in an interview on GHOne TV, as reported by MyNewsGH.

He praised the government's efforts to maintain a lean administration. This is contrary to claims made by the opposition. Despite having fewer ministers than previous governments, Mahama's administration operates efficiently.

"When we said we would run a lean government, they argued it meant appointing more people," he explained.

"But we proved with data that even with over 88 ministers, they had more appointees at the presidency and vice president's office than we do."

Prof. Beyuo also noted the Finance Minister's success in creating alternative revenue sources. He highlighted that this was done without burdening Ghanaians with new taxes.

"They said we couldn’t support the budget without certain taxes," he said. "But the Finance Minister and his team minimized losses and generated enough resources without relying on those taxes."

He concluded by stating that Mahama has fulfilled every major promise he made. This reinforces his belief in the president's unmatched commitment to governance.
