We got many things wrong; Please forgive us – Bawumia begs Ghanaians

Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the 2024 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He recently acknowledged the shortcomings of the NPP-led administration. He apologized to Ghanaians and asked for renewed trust before the upcoming elections.

Speaking in London, Dr. Bawumia admitted that the NPP made mistakes. He said, “The NPP did a lot of work, but we did not get everything right.” He expressed regret for not addressing certain issues properly.

On behalf of himself, the party, and the government, he apologized for these errors. He assured Ghanaians that the party has learned from its mistakes. If given another chance, he believes they will improve.

Dr. Bawumia's comments come after the NPP's poor performance in recent elections.
