We’ll invest equitably in local governance  - President Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama emphasized the importance of district administration. He believes effective local governance is vital for national development.

Mahama spoke in Accra yesterday. He swore in Michael Harry Yamson as the new Administrator of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF). This appointment follows Article 252(4) of the 1992 Constitution.

The President praised Yamson's qualities for managing the Fund effectively. He stressed that competent administration is essential. Additionally, timely and adequate resource disbursement is crucial for successful local governance.
