We’ll support your presidency – GPCC assures Mahama

The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) has pledged its full support for President-elect John Dramani Mahama as he prepares to lead Ghana.

During a visit, GPCC President Apostle Eric Nyamekye praised Mahama’s leadership experience and urged him to govern with integrity and a focus on national development.

“We will continue to pray for you and support your presidency,” Apostle Nyamekye assured, adding that the GPCC remains committed to collaborating for the nation’s progress.

In response, Mahama expressed gratitude, emphasizing the need for bold reforms during his tenure. “Some decisions may be harsh, but they will be in the national interest,” he said, promising to build consensus despite the NDC’s strong majority.

The visit underscored the Council's hopes for impactful leadership.
