We made promises and we’ve kept them – Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama stated that his government kept its promises.

In a national address on May 7, he highlighted key achievements from his first 120 days.

These include a new Code of Conduct for political appointees.

He also mentioned the cancellation of the controversial betting tax and the E-levy.

Additionally, he discussed efforts to create a lean and efficient government.

"We made promises and we have kept them," he said.

"Our first 120 days focused on decisive action and transparency."

He emphasized building a just, prosperous, and united Ghana.

This performance update is part of Mahama’s campaign pledge for accountability.

It aims to provide clear benchmarks for progress in governance.
