Rev. Fr. Michael K. A. Quaicoe, Director for Governance, Justice, and Peace for the Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference, has emphasized the need to restore trust in Ghana's judicial system.

Citing former U.S. President Barack Obama, he stressed that strong institutions are essential for a nation's success.

Speaking on JoyNews' AM Show, Rev. Fr. Quaicoe highlighted that trust in the judiciary and other institutions is crucial for collaboration and preventing individuals from seeking alternative redress.

He called for government institutions to strengthen their structures to ensure unbiased, fair, and trustworthy operations.

Additionally, he urged political parties to engage in honest campaigning and collaborate with state institutions to maintain peace and fairness.
