We must work together to drive progress – Ekumfi DCE appeals to Assembly Members

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Ekumfi, Mr. Ismaeel Nana Asamoah, has urged Assembly Members to put aside political differences. He wants them to focus on the district’s development agenda.

In an interview with MyNewsGh.com reporter Hajia Asana Gordon, Mr. Asamoah stressed the importance of working together. He believes collective action can harness the district’s potential for everyone's benefit.

"We must leverage our unique skills and experience to drive progress," he stated. He encouraged Assembly Members to find untapped resources in their areas. They should explore opportunities for job creation and resource generation.

Mr. Asamoah highlighted Ekumfi's strengths, noting its rich history and natural resources. These provide a solid foundation for development.

He pledged to focus on economic growth and infrastructure improvements. Job creation and agribusiness will also be key areas for attracting investors. "We want a favorable business environment," he said.

On infrastructure, he promised to work with Assembly Members on roads, markets, and public facilities. This will improve residents' quality of life.

Nana Asamoah is committed to promoting agricultural entrepreneurship. He aims to support farmers and young entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector.

"I will ensure we empower youth to contribute meaningfully," he said about Ekumfi’s development.

He called on the community to embrace their roles as stakeholders in this journey. "I urge all citizens, both home and abroad, to support Ekumfi’s growth."
