The Minority Leader in Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has a message for the NPP. He urges the party to rebrand itself. This is crucial as they aim to regain voter trust before the elections.
On Joy FM’s Super Morning Show on May 2, he discussed the party's time in government. He acknowledged that their eight years had flaws. However, he also highlighted significant achievements that should not be ignored.
“We need to rebrand and assure Ghanaians,” he said. “We made mistakes but also had successes like Free SHS.” He emphasized balancing humility with pride in past accomplishments.
The Effutu MP stressed the need to reconnect with citizens. This requires honesty, accountability, and a commitment to change.
“We must show Ghanaians we have learned from our shortcomings,” he added. “We are ready to govern with greater diligence and responsiveness.”
