We’re seeing very good results – Boamah on education and ICT in Okaikwei Central

Patrick Yaw Boamah, the Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, is committed to youth development and education. He believes information and communication technology (ICT) is vital for young people’s future.

On Saturday morning, he spoke at a breakfast meeting with clergy members at Abeka Presbyterian Church. Boamah discussed recent initiatives to equip students with digital skills. He noted that support from non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is increasing.

“In our schools, we’ve been focusing on ICT training,” he said. “Last week, we hosted about 300 students to expose them to ICT.” He expressed happiness about the partnerships with NGOs supporting this initiative.

The MP also emphasized the need for academic discipline among students. He wants students to focus on their studies for better performance. “So far, we are seeing very good results,” he added.

Boamah admires the progress of students in his constituency. His priority remains enhancing human capital. “It’s inspiring to visit campuses and see what these students achieve,” he said. His main focus will continue to be on human development and empowerment.
