‘We should broaden our base in our next reforms’ – Bawumia to NPP

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, former Vice President, is the NPP's 2024 flagbearer. He has urged his party to expand its reform agenda.

He spoke to supporters in the Oti Region during the NPP’s Thank You Tour. Dr. Bawumia emphasized the need to engage more of Ghanaian society.

“Looking ahead, we should broaden our base in our next reforms,” he said. He stressed including voices from every region and various groups.

These groups include youth, women’s organizations, traditional authorities, and businesses. This inclusion will help ensure policies reflect all Ghanaians' aspirations.

At a town-hall meeting in Dambai, he shared lessons from the 2024 campaign. He praised party volunteers for their dedication but noted room for improvement.

“Our strength lies in our unity and diversity,” he stated. “By reaching out to new stakeholders, we strengthen our party and nation.”
