Wealthy Nigerian arrested in Accra for narcotics possession

A wealthy Nigerian national has been arrested in Accra. He is accused of dealing narcotics.

The National Investigations Bureau (NIB) apprehended him during a special operation. They found large quantities of heroin and cocaine at his home.

Authorities seized six bags of drugs, each weighing 33.22 kilograms. This totals 199.32 kilograms of narcotics.

They also recovered 10 boxes of drugs, valued at about $12,000 each. The suspect is now in police custody as investigations continue.
