West African Pharma, Health Exhibition opens in Accra

The fourth edition of the West African Pharma and Healthcare Expo opened in Accra on Tuesday. The government is committed to supporting the local pharmaceutical industry.

Over 100 exhibitors and stakeholders are participating in this three-day event. They come from the pharmaceutical, medical, and healthcare sectors. The expo will explore how technology, especially artificial intelligence, is shaping medicine.

Astrovision Global FZCO Dubai and ACE Group organized the event. They partnered with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Trade and Industry. The goal is to foster innovation and collaboration in healthcare across the sub-region.

In his opening address, Deputy Minister Mr. Sampson Ahi spoke about the importance of these sectors. He emphasized their role in ensuring national health security. He also highlighted their contribution to driving economic growth.
