What we are experiencing now is not dumsor- NPP’s Kojo Poku

Former Flagbearer hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kojo Poku, says Ghana is not experiencing dumsor.

He believes there are challenges in the energy sector causing issues.

Poku noted that unlike during Mahama's administration, there is enough supply now.

“I will not conclude that we have dumsor,” he stated.

He explained that dumsor means not having enough supply to meet demand.

“Currently, we have enough supply, so I won't call it dumsor,” he added.

In the Ashanti Region, a bulk supply point was under construction.

However, communication about this project was poor, leading to confusion.

Since the start of the year, many areas have faced power outages.

These outages impact businesses and individuals significantly.

People are calling on the Energy Minister for a timetable.

This would help them plan their lives and protect their businesses.
