South Dayi MP Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor has fiercely criticized Majority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin following the Electoral Commission's declaration of seven contested parliamentary seats in favor of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
During an interview with TV3 on December 21, Dafeamekpor accused the NPP of manipulating outcomes to secure a parliamentary majority.
“When a matter is in court, don’t you respect the process? Afenyo is celebrating results still before the Supreme Court. We are not brothers, Afenyo, we are not!” he exclaimed.
The MP also alleged hypocrisy and political maneuvering by the NPP, warning of repercussions when the National Democratic Congress (NDC) returns to power. “When we get power, we will show them where power lies!” he vowed.
The EC's declaration follows court-ordered re-collation, granting the NPP seats in key constituencies like Okaikwei Central and Nsawam Adoagyiri.
