Security analyst Saani Adib Jatikay has raised doubts about the alleged kidnapping of Emirates Airlines’ Airport Services Manager, Sylvia Patience Baah, citing inconsistencies in her account.

Sylvia claimed she was abducted by armed men in police uniforms and later released, but police confirmed no rescue operation occurred.

Jatikay questioned the absence of evidence, such as surveillance footage or forensic details, to support her story. He also found her silence on key aspects of her release suspicious.

He suggested the incident could have been staged to gain sympathy or distract from other issues.

Jatikay urged the police to investigate thoroughly, warning that false claims undermine real abduction cases and waste public resources.

The police and Sylvia have yet to respond.
